Proud Mama! asked:

We are moving and don’t have a lot of things to store, but the things that we do have are: Couch, Chaise lounge, Entertainment center (armoire converted into an entertainment center), Mattress, box springs, head board and foot board, 2 dressers and a night stand plus misc. boxes as well. Trying to get it all into a 10×10 and utilize as much space as possible. Does anyone know a good way to organize the storage unit to utilize the space? Any help appreciated! Thanks!

  • Rusty Nail says:

(P-H-D) Pile higher and deeper. Put the dressers in the rear corners on each side wall. You can put boxes on top. Put the heavy boxes on the lower layers. Mattress and box spring can be placed on end against the wall with the head and foot board between to protect them.

The end result is to put the largest items in first. Use things that you can stack on. Light weight boxes (etc) can be placed anywhere.
